Seriously trivial thoughts
Visited another local “pond” named Plaza Lake to try out my new Nikon 70-200 f/2.8. Overcast day and probably would have preferred the reach of my 150-600, but I had to get out of the house and try this baby! It’s a little heavy, but less than I expected. Sharp as a tack.

Had fun taking pictures of behavior dogs this weekend. Ended up taking over 600! Whittled it down to around 200 and still post-processing them. While you are waiting for all of them to be posted, I thought I’d share some photos of one of the dogs doing acrobatic tricks!
Well, the storm passed and I was able to get down to a local pond to test out my new D7200 and the Tamron 150-600. Boy, what a difference a cropped sensor makes compared to using my D750.
Mission Miracle K9 had a large booth at Bark in the Park. Not as hot as it could have been, but still, the Sunken Gardens can be an oven and yesterday was no exception. Lots of fun though and it was a success for MMK9.
Blackbird Antiques in Comfort, TX is a great place to find interesting antiques, home decor, bedding and more. The owner, Karen Frias, has two adorable pugs (used to be three…miss you Eddie!) that are worth the visit alone.
