I am so close to buying one of these useless giant coffee mugs…please stop me.
This is funny. A spammer is offering me a website with a *free* logo for $499. Well, that sounds like a helluva deal. Then, another spammer gave me a like on the other spammer’s tweet. Ya gotta love social media.
I’ve always loved GIFs and the ancient animated file format introduced by CompuServe way back in 1987 just seems to be hanging in there, if not making a comeback. The problem back in the day was they weren’t particularly efficient and even a short one would be large, at least for the time. Now, with mega-megabyte videos being tossed around, the inefficient compression isn’t too big of a deal. Here are a few I just picked up.
Also, I’ve got my GIF Insanity page working again! Had to hack a couple lines of code on an existing plugin, but it seems to work. Yippee!
How come I never heard of these? Kinda looks like a cross between an armadillo and an ant eater, almost dinosaur-like. Weird how it kinda walks on two legs most of the time. The name reminds me of an old Bugs Bunny cartoon about a Hoboken-born penguin. The bum that wants to eat him says, ” pen-ga-wins is practically chickens.” (Skip to about 2:30) HAHA[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhdhhhyYpio]
The Hickory Horned Devil, North America’s largest caterpillar. It turns into a Royal Walnut moth which is isn’t as big as I would have expected, but still pretty large.
It’s got a laser. It must be better. BTW, did you know that it really should be called a LOSER since the A in LASER stands for Amplification, but the light is really Oscillated? ;-D
Not a lot of people know this, but restaurants usually don’t sing “Happy Birthday” because this would be a commercial use and subject to a performance royalty. However, starting today everyone is free use “Happy Birthday” without having to pay a license fee, as a California federal court ruling just entered the popular song into the public domain. Yay!
This is kinda funny. Not sure how this happened, but check out the title of this Sandisk SD card on Amazon. (Fixed now ;-)
