Found another tip on how to get ancient Adobe CS2 software working properly under Windows 8. If you keep getting the registration dialog every time you run Photoshop CS2, next time you run it, right-click the icon on the Start screen and choose Run as administrator. Then go through the registration process once more. This time it should stick and stop appearing.
